I have a book that was owned by my grandfather who lived in Arnprior, Ontario, Canada. The book, “The Kinsmen” is a historical narrative about the area around which Arnprior was “born,” the Laird of McNab, and the Scottish settlers he brought with him.
Any ideas on a value of this book?

Most books dealing with localities neither sell well or bring more than a few dollars when they do !! Only people that are interested in them are those with links to the area !!

Unfortunately Mart is right. These books can be fascinating, but their audience tends to be rather small.
