I can't find anything on this batter bowl by Bauer. As you can see from the pictures, it is not one of their Ringware pieces. I have looked everywhere I know where to look but have come up with nothing that looks like this piece.
It has a couple of chips, as are shown in the pictures.
HELP!

Like this one? You don't see many of these but see lots of the ring ware!

Kind of like the one on ebay, but the one I have is angular! All the Bauer stuff I have seen has very smooth lines. I don't know if that makes this one more or less valuable.

I can tell you that with the damage to your piece unless it is a VERY RARE piece or a one of a kind it will be worth very little. Most pottery collectors are like glass collectors and damage to a piece is a no way!!!Like I said unless the piece is Very rare or one of a kind. I would find the most current books you can on the subject and see how rare this piece is. I do not have any books unpacked in my library that have a lot of info on Bauer. I did find Bauer called your piece a beater pitcher.

Thanks, Wendy. That's kind of what I thought, but I am finding out through this forum, that things aren't always what they seem!
Again, thanks for your insight.
