Title: German WWII Button?
Post by: michaelhegdahl on October 12, 2012, 10:01:00 AM
I found two of these what I think are buttons. They're not gold, I had them checked. I was told they look like buttons off a German Uniform. Anybody have any info on these. Thank you!

I don,t think that these are buttons from a WW11 German uniform...most of their buttons had an eagle holding a Hakenkreuze in its claws...and the eagle on these buttons..is very non Germanic....

Hi,

This is a U.S. Lapel pin, Soldiers called it  the ruptured duck, you got this pin when you got out of the Service in WWII, it means the person was honorably discharged from Service.
                     Regards,
