Title: Owen China
Post by: slblank on October 14, 2012, 04:03:21 PM
I have a platter that I have searched for pictures and values of without success.  On the back it says Owen China, Minerva, 1or I 27.  Can anyone shed some light on this for me?

Thank you

Without picture it will be hard to offer much.  the word Minerva is a town in Ohio which Owens produced it china  Numbers are factory inventory numbers, but you will have to offer a picture to get the pattern and value.   Overall Owens is not really valuable and Platters in general are worth about 10 to 20 depending on how fancy and rare the pattern may be.
