Title: OLD possible hand carved copper plate. Native American possibly?

I have this plate that has been hanging on my wall for years, And i'm just wondering if anyone can shed any light on it. Maybe tell me where it came from?, ect,ect.

Digi camera,s are cheap as chips...like mine...3.2mp @£5 GBP..or $7.90...and it takes good quality pics....unlike these poor excuses that you,ve posted...help us to help you...that,s all we ask... ;) ;D.

Don`t know why but makes me think it may be Turkish or that area !!

Hope that works. I don't know if yours would be this old but possibly. It's an interesting piece :) At first I thought it might be from India but I think mart is correct that it could be Turkish.

I can't really make out the images along the edges. Are they feathers, and fish? Can't really tell. I don't think it's Native American either, although I can see how feathers might make an association.
