Yippee! I thought I once posted this clock. Just thought I'd pop it in ebay. I was once told it was worth $850. Well things have changed, lol ;D

can you show us a pic of the movement...there should also be a serial number down on the left hand side as you view it from the rear...you may like to send an email with pic to here....as they have worked on this type of clock...

How did I know it was going to cost me. :'( My husband's first cousin is a major clock collector and restorer. I sent him pictures 2 years ago. He gave me the price. I don't really care what's it worth monetarly. It would have been nice. I love this clock for other reasons.

Confusion ..will be my Epitaph....that,s for sure...let me get this straight...you are saying that the $850 that i thought, that you thought it was worth,...is in actual fact what you have been quoted to restore this clock....or have i got what i think, i think i,ve got....and that,s the wrong end of the stick.....or am i barking up the wrong tree??....

I don't know I'm confused too! After a family reunion he told me to email some pictures to him. He told the clock was worth $850. Maybe he was wrong without a hands on look.

I think I,ve got it now...its not going to cost $850 to restore it...this family friend thinks it might be worth $850...but you have seen one on ebay that is worth double that + but the one on ebay is not the same as yours,...therefore it might be worth more or less, depending on when yours was made, the original ones were made in the 17th century, buy yours is from 1950...i need to see the serial number.....now skoosh/moosh and take a pic of the movement and the nummer.... ;D
