No information at all on this. I just know it's old & looks cool. No markings at all.
Anyone wanna take a stab? I paid $40 for it in Garland, TX this morning. The guy said he had no clue about its history or about antiques in general. He just wanted it gone.
Either way, I love it.

For some reason these were popular when the Spanish Colonial style and Mediterranean Revival appeared in California decorating !! I occassionally find them at garage sales but so far,,, you are the only person I can think of that actually likes them !! When I lived in Mesquite we went to Garland and made the day going to garage sales !! Lot of fun back then !!
