Title: Another weekend, another find!
Post by: DwnSouthJukin on October 27, 2012, 06:40:21 PM
No information at all on this. I just know it's old & looks cool. No markings at all.

Anyone wanna take a stab? I paid $40 for it in Garland, TX this morning. The guy said he had no clue about its history or about antiques in general. He just wanted it gone.

Either way, I love it.

Thanks for that link! Kinda disappointed it's not worth more though.

Oh well, I guess it'll just stay with me. I love it.

For some reason these were popular when the Spanish Colonial style and Mediterranean Revival appeared in California decorating !! I occassionally find them at garage sales but so far,,, you are the only person I can think of that actually likes them !!  When I lived in Mesquite we went to Garland and made the day going to garage sales !!  Lot of fun back then !!
