Hi folks, I was out at my folks house this last week and was rummaging through my old stuff and found these and would like your opinion. The first is a mickey mouse watch I had when I was 5. I can just make out "1970 by" at the bottom but cant make out the name. The back reads " Base Metal Bezel Swiss Made 10035" in a circle and across the middle is the number 10551. I looked all over and couldnt find this same watch, but heres one thats VERY similar with subtle differences.

on to the button.. probably nothing special but wanted to know how old it is and where it came from if anyone can help.It reads " BURG CO TYR 1780 ARCHID AVST DUX" and has a two headed eagle with a crown and two snakes coming out of the crown, Im guessing its a coat of arms. thanks for any help!

I was under the assumption that the mouse pictures started on the watches in the 60's. I have a mickey watch pre-picture. That was purchased at a World's Fair in 1960. I'm sure everyone will let me know if I'm wrong. ;D

I can't see the face very well. Mickey watches range from $10 to about $60 from that time period. Does it work? If not, it could be in the neighborhood of around $20.

I had one in the 50`s by U.S. Time I think !! I lost it in the back yard,, a year later I found it !! It still worked !!

my camera wont take a good close up pic, ive tried everything. if I can decribe it, its Mickey in bell bottoms and an open chested shirt (disco style) and he appears to be holding either a sparkler or a light bulb. it still winds but it needs repair to make it work well again. Thanks for the link Rauville, would have never thought of that button being worth that much!
