We were really lucky! The trees missed the really old houses. The one house was hit, but can be repaired.

Thanks, when I see the shore areas it's so sad. I have a picture of my friends house at the shore I'll have to post. The water is up to the porch! Brick was hit so hard!

Glad you are OK GA!

This is my friend's house at the Jersey shore. It was taken from her porch this morning.

It's a shame the home values didn't go up have oceanfront property!
-
It's always a risk having an ocean front proprty. A lot of these are second homes. If people were smart they had flood insurance. Your a fool if you don't. When I had my house I always had flood ins. Some of these people are very wealthy. It's the people who loose everything that's truly upsetting. I still say it's a sin and tragic, but the second home owners still have houses and are warm at home. For that people who lost everything plus loved ones none of that is replaceable.

Such a gorgeous neighborhood, Greenacres. So glad the historic homes weren't damaged. PA all the way!!

Those roads haven't been cleared yet. The roads are not passible. PECO still working on electric. So, cold here. Not as bad as loosing your house though. I wish I could the people more who are suffering.
