Title: royal doulton jug?
Post by: jaikno66 on November 02, 2012, 09:53:28 PM: i got this jug and its a large simon the cellarer,but there is no mark of the royal doulton stamp,so could it be fake?

Is this the same jug you were looking at before ??

Mart, I think that's S-i-m- o (in grey/brown)...... so assuming it's part of Simon the Cellarer

Here is a marked Royal Doulton, small version (3.25 in)

According to what I have read these were only produced in two sizes,, 3 1/2 and 6 1/2 or there about !! If this is the same one you looked at earlier,, did the seller have a pic of the RD mark ??
