Thank you to all our veterans. Without them we would not have the freedoms we enjoy everyday. "God Bless America"! Of course and our over the pond family! ;D

A peaceful Remembrance Day to all.......US and UK included! It would be a very different and frightening world were it not for all those who served and are serving.
I don't know about veterans outside of Canada, but I certainly hope they are treated with more respect and consideration by their governments than ours are. They are paid crap wages, shipped to hell and back and tossed aside like a McD's wrapper when their 'usefulness' has expired.
The people remember and offer their thanks........the troops deserve as much and more from their country's government.

Its the same over here...millions are spent giving foreign aid...to countries that can,t manage their own affairs...but when it comes to helping old soldiers who gave their all, for Queen and country....its a different story....they get very little help,...up until 2 years ago, pensioners used to get a £250 winter fuel payment....then last year the government decided...we,ll only give them £200,...thus saving loads of money...but then we hear that Gov ministers...give themselves a pay rise...claim oodles for expenses...whilst old veterans and pensioners can,t heat their homes....Avril calls them and the royals...Parasites. .....
