Title: carnival junk?

if this posts twice pls forgive me

I found this at a thrift shop and just thought it looked nice

kind of heavy

gold backing--spent a lot as you can see

any info or price thoughts let me know

Don't know what the dimensions are...but reminds me of a coaster for a glass.

thank kc, but the center is glass over the picture, not too stable to sit a drink on--maybe just an ornamental piece?

It appears to me that it is a souvenier piece from Jamaica or Bahamas somewhere,, I have never seen one like it !!  Even though it doesn`t have where its from on it,, could be that it had a cup or something that did !!  Lots of people buy cup and saucer sets from their travels !!  Neat little saucer though !! Even though our saucers are more shallow than that,, many places are not !!

I agree with Mart on this. Definitely a souvenir, probably from the Chubby Checker limbo era.

I loved the chubby checker thought.

From what Mart said I was able to locate a similar one on ebay right now, they are/were made in japan by a scotty company

Theirs is from Opryland Nashville TN

You should have posted the link to ebay !!  Would have liked to see it !!  I love pink flamingos,,,remember !!
