I recently discovered two chairs in our barn that have the Murphy, Detroit Mich label on them. After a little online research i have found they date back to 1907-1919 before the Murphy Chair Co moved to Owensboro, KY. I was wondering if anyone may know what value they may have?

It looks like the condition may be a bit rough, so probably $20-$30 apiece.

Thank you...i wanted to restore them but didnt want to affect their value. I can safely do so now.

Right, ..... and they will make for a pair of fine looking "Golden Oak" slat-back dining table chairs or whatever you choose to use them for.
