so yesterday i was at the auction and the mask wasn't made of gold, but gold-colored copper, and sold for 104$ Includes tax.
Another interesting item was a gold bar weighing one 1 kilogram 999, sold for $ 54,000.Includes tax.
:)
-
the gold bar.
-
I did the math. That approximately $1680.00 per troy ounce which is only 40.00 under today's market price at the moment. How long would you hold it?
-
well is not me who bought it.
-
Well, since you were going to bid $150. and it sold for $104. You saved a bit of money on it !! I thought it might have been something like that !! Like I said before,, sometimes what is not said is more important than what is said !! Thanks for letting us know the results !!
-
Ditto! Thanks!
-
yea mart you were right.
I actually won two other items that contain gold and silver jewelry.
:)
-
Excellent !! Post pics !! Would love to see them !!

and silver 925.

Very nice !! What are the blue stones ?? Lapis ?? I would have a really hard time selling those for melt !! Are any of the pieces older ones ??
-
yes the blue stone are Lapis.
What is the value of these stones per gram ?
and btw i see mark in the ring that shows the number 916 22/22
is mean is 22K ?
the Auction house said it was a ring of 18 carats i hope they made a mistake :)
-
That I have no clue about !! But I would check on the value of those stones before deciding on selling them !! Could be they made a mistake on the gold but would take someone more experienced than me to help you there !! Sorry !! Might find something online about the stones !! I will look around !!
-
well from what i see in the internet 916 should be 22K

From what I could find your lapis looks to be top grade !! The inclusion of pyrite (gold colored flecks) adds to its value,,pure clear blue with violet undertones is also top value !! Haven`t found values except in American market but those were fairly good !! I would recommend taking them to someone there with gemology experience !! Could be those are worth more as jewelry than melt since they are silver !!
-
well yea i will take them to some gemology experience.
here some pics that show the marks on the ring.
