I've been researching this coffee canister I can't seem to find it. I think it was for import. I yried looking under Italian canisters nad canisters under time period. What are your suggestions?

Looks fairly modern to me - most likely imported for sale.

I thought that it was imported. My mother in law is 87 and still giving things to me. She just made me take an electric typewriter that weighs 50lbs, a crock pot I didn't want and a blender which I already have one. ;D This is older and not recent if she had it, lol.

I don't know where you live but on Mulberry Street in New York's Little Italy there is a store that has been selling Italian wares like this for many years. Very typical of Italian imported pottery. Hard to date because it has not changed much if decades. Pasta bowls are the most common item.

I am familiar with Italian pottery. I have many pieces, some bought in Italy. I'll check some a Italian pottery websites I know.
