Title: Lionhead Oak chair
Post by: ggilgrb on December 02, 2004, 03:42:59 PM
This is a fine piece of woodwork from the Stomps-Burkhardt Co of Daton,
Ohio(cirrca 1890-1930). The Chair has two lionheads carved into backrest.
Chair has half of the Stomps-Burkhardt lable in tact the bottem of which has
a model no. X51. The seat portion is bare wood semicircle on which I believe was placed a cushion of sorts. I am interested in pricing info on this item. :o                                                                     Thanks
