Title: Roger's Sterling Dish..
Post by: Wickerone on May 05, 2003, 10:20:55 PM
Message:
I came across a rather badly tarnished silver tray at goodwill today, and I would like to know if anyone could help me figure out how old it is, and if it has any value to anyone other than myself.     The marks on the bottom of this are:

APRIL
SIMEON L & GORGE H
ROGERS COMPANY
6193

I've found that this company was the "parent" company of WM Rogers, but that's all the information I can find. I can also only find flatware made by this company in online searches. My piece is some kind of deep oval shaped tray, it's hard to explain. Does anyone have any information they can share? Thanks!

not much value for silver plate. the age is there and it  is collected.

so how old is it?  I didn't think it had much value, but it's a nice piece to add to my collection. :)
