I found this thing at Goodwill and want to find another one. Again, not concerned about the value... I have no idea what it is exactly, what style it is and how to search for another one. Thank you for looking!
The only marking I found was a tag on the back (pictured below). I knocked the tag off accidentally and taped it together.

A wall mounted twin candle holder ...perhaps....no real age...maybe brought back from Spanish holiday....
-
Okay, this looks alot like what I have seen in the market in the DFW area since the 1970's. If you live in the Dallas area....I believe there is a large Mexican Market in Garland and one in lower Dallas (south of 30) that you might be able to find similar ones at.

Yes 1970s "Spanish Provincial" or "Mexican rustic." Very little to no value.

Little or no value, perfect! Maybe I can find one easily for cheap. Is this thing ugly or do I have a weird taste?

Do you really want me to answer that??... ;D. as you said...different strokes....
-
Ugly IMO so look at it this way - more for you!!

This style is VERY desired in New Mexico and southern Texas!
-
it has a rustic look that would,nt be out of place..in some Cantina....where the proprietors..had,nt paid the leccy bill.... ;D
-
Enough margaritas & I would love them!! ;)
-
If you like it,, its beautiful !!
-
I know in this area they call the style southwestern....but I can't find any under that.
-
a pair of them would,nt look out of place..hanging on a wall...of a medieval castle...
-
this looks very Gothic...saw this similar one on ebay....http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Chandelier-Gothic-Christmas-Vintage-style-wooden-/130816896278?pt=UK_HomeGarden_Lighting_Lamps_Lighting_SM&hash=item1e754b6d16

I don't know how much you want to invest, but if you forwarded a photo of your fixture to a good blacksmith I'm sure they could turn out anything you desired.

Its a good idea in principal...but unless the wood used in the donor...could be matched to perfection...then I feel that whatever he made would look like ..chalk and cheese ..when they were together...
