Was trying to find some information on this piece. I could not find any markings on it. Does anyone have any Idea.
Thank you.

very nice mirror..Chinese..by the looks of it...beasts at each side are gryphons...and a dragon at the top....age...well.. with me it,ll be..eeny meeny mighty mo..mid to ..late Victorian...1880 /1902..let me revise that..as i,ve just noticed that the mirror has a bevel edge..which will mostly be acid etched...maybe a little earlier..

Your location ?? How did you acquire the mirror ?? Can you take a pic of the back of it ??
-
there,s that word again Mart...over here ...acquire translates into ..fell off the back of a lorry....

The Bay Area, California. My Greatgrandmother bought it from the kaiser estate in the late 20's or early 30's.

Here is a Chair that was bought at the same time.

Nice Pieces!
Are we talking Henry Kaiser Estate? Lake Tahoe?
-
His house on the Lake was used in the Godfather film....

Agree on the date with Bigwull. Looks to be in the Horner school of "griffenry" with some oriental influence thrown in. 1890-1910.
Very nice!!

These chairs were most often hall chairs...but were also seen at formal tables.ghopper...I wouldn't doubt if it is a RJ Horner!
