Title: Japanese porcelain tea set hand-me-down
Post by: Antebellum890 on December 29, 2012, 12:42:49 PM
Hi all,
while cleaning out a closet, i found a porcelain tea set handed down to me by a Japanese relative.  In the interest of clearing out storage room, i am interested in selling it.  Can anyone tell me anything about it?  I am afraid i dont know anything beyond that it belonged to my relative.

Also, do you have any recommendations on how much $ i should post it for on e-bay?  There are 12 cups, 11 saucers, 9 plates, and cream and sugar bowls.  One of the cups is chipped and one has a crack, other than that the rest of the pieces are undamaged.

Thank you!

Not knowing where you are located makes it difficult.  But I can tell you that on the west coast of Canada, they have little to no value.  They are very common here & were never used, as such there are a lot of sets coming out of china cabinets.
