Title: 2" figure -would like more information

My grandfather gave this figure to me years ago. It's approx 2", its arms and feet move a little and it's eyes also open and close.

I know nothing about its history at all so any information would be great.

What is the material that the doll is made from...plastic? To me, it looks like a 1950's vintage souvenir type, dressed up as a court jester. There were earlier bisque "doll house size" dolls that had the same overall similarities as yours, so there's a big difference in values.

Thanks for the responses, the doll is made out of plastic and I am in the UK.

Wullie is lurking around here somewhere and would be likely to tell you about the figure !!  I have seen similar from the UK but can`t remember what it was !!  Brain fog again !!!
