Photography I have a good idea of what I can get... But I have this old family album from a super rich family from the chicago area ranging from the 30's to Just after the war beautiful photography. Is it better to break it up and sell the photography, or does the album have more value.

Everything will depend on...How well known were this super rich family...."were they in the public eye."..were they famous/infamous...there are many factors to be looked at before we can say...how valuable these pics may..or not be...

30`s is not that old !! Main interest would be to their descendants !! If well known shouldn`t be hard to find them !!

Yes I would attempt to return it to them. If it were me I would only ask to be reimbursed what you paid for it, plus shipping. Family albums should be with family whenever possible.

That,s,..assummg that they will want it back...not everyone has happy families..

If not,, then sell it !!
