These 2 pc heavy marble top coffee tables came with an old Chicagoan house.
The previous owner is unreachable so it is a dead end.
The top is removable so is the lower glass.
I appreciate any help finding out how old and where they came from (maybe China or France??) and maybe a value?
Thanks

I would,nt say these were coffee tables...I,d call them side tables...most likely Victorian...the marble top will almost certainly be Carrara marble..value...dep ends where you are...over here in the UK...expect £250 max the pair...and that would be on a very good day..with a strong wind behind them...

They look modern to me. Rococo type repro. They even have a glass base.

First glance these look reproduction to me...but I really need to see pictures of the under sides of the table tops. If you could please post them. Thanks!!!

Yep, looks like "reproductions," although I don't think there were ever any original Victorian tables that looked quite like this, i.e. with glass lower shelves.
Recent, in any case. Probably from SE Asia. Value: maybe $100 for the pair.

I agree !! Repro`s,, $100. maybe !! Top does not look like natural marble from the pics !!
-
It's probably cultured "marble."
$100 may be optimistic. $50 - $75 for the pair may be more realistic.

Yep !!!!
