These sell well in the UK..if its got a makers name...it should be cast into the bath somewhere...are the paintings enamelled on..or are they transfers or just paint on top of the enamel...it looks like painted figures on top of the enamel to me...i.e. someones attempt to liven up an otherwise dull bath...are there holes for the taps and drain...see link for a Knock your socks off price....

I have say: You discover the most interesting items.
-
Some of the smaller tubs with stands are being used for herb gardens here and run around $250. !! Williams Sonoma had one for sale but not as nice as this one or as large/deep !!
-
Have also seen them with only drain holes and they run a little higher here. $250 - $350 in great shape!
-
Over here..people go nuts for these...
-
Wullie, what are they using them for? Original use or something else? Obviously not for firewood! :/
-
Naw...you put the firewood underneath it...to heat the watter...when your makin a big "pot o. soup for when yer gadgie relatives come unexpectadely...or you can make it into the ultimate hot bathtub....or as i have seen...a shower tray/small bath for small apartment....
