Title: old metal cabinet
Post by: Jeanni on January 18, 2013, 10:51:19 AM
Hi Everyone,

This metal cabinet measures 19" wide x 39 " tall x 6" deep.  I've exhausted my resources, but cannot find out what this cabinet was used for.  Can anyone help?  It appears to have been recessed into a wall.  It has no shelves.

Thank you - Jeanni

That sure is a strange one.

It might have had a wire rack in it and used for cooling or drying something.

Or a specialty storage cabinet for an instrument because it was manufactured for a specific pprpose.

Yeah, it is a built in clothes hamper form the 40's to 50's!  See other post.
