Title: What's this? Tall wood stand - maybe some sort of lamp?

It's about 5.5 feet tall, no marks

Can`t see the top pic well but that base looks like a pole lamp !! Lamp part is missing but looks like you have a finial,, thats good !!  Can you take a lighter pic that shows detail ??

Can you see the hole or wire remnants on bottom ?? That pic was much better !!

I know they had a version of a floor lamp with a built-in clock...maybe that's what you have??

I'm going with lamp, but the base reminds me of an ornate Bird cage stand.

Most of the cage stands would have a curved hook at the top for hanging it !!  There is a center hole for wiring so floor lamp !!
