Title: Faux gold figure with 4 marking on bottom

I bought an elephant figure lot and one of them is gold colored and has a 4 on its underbelly I was wondering what the mark means I have looked and looked and cannot find out any thing if anyone knows and could give me and information about it I would really appreciate it!  :D

That usually indicates the style number !!  May have had several different positions or different animals !! They had to be marked in some way so when sold the order would read "2 doz. #4," !! Ect !!

His feet look to have #s on them also?? It looks like a 1 and a 5 do all the feet have #s??

The feet dont have any markings n them they are just a little rough. So this one is now #4 :)

Huh. thought the feet would have 1 2 3 4!  :)  Threw me off for the 5!  LOLOL
