Title: donkey with cart, made in Italy
Post by: sugarcube5419 on February 01, 2013, 03:30:34 PM
good afternoon all,

Is there anyone who knows how to read the marking for me?  I want to list it on ebay, but some of these seem worth much more than others...I hope there is someone who can explain how to read the bottom.

shout out to mart

I would think that these items were painted on a "piece work" payment basis, and the "5/c" mark was that of the decorator.
Value? Not much...$10 on a good day. IMHO
