Title: Display Cases??
Post by: valmont325 on February 02, 2013, 06:53:20 PM
I just picked up this display case at auction. Thought it was very unique with the brass pieces.  My question is, do display cases bring in alot of money? I would like to use it but i am wondering if something like this would sell and for what kind of dollar amount.  Also, what kind of date is this piece? How old?

What are the dimensions? If the doors are lockable there are always collectible dealers setting up a mall booth that need them. In fact, those brass corner pieces on the top were probably designed to prevent theft by someone lifting up the glass and reaching in.

That case is worth $200 to $300 to most any dealer to keep their high buck items in so that don't get broken, damaged or ...... walk out their door un-noticed.  ;D ;D

It is "cheap" insurance that you only have to buy once and it protects you for years to come.
