:o my mom and i were cleaning out the house and we have a
vintage tea service that belonged to my great grandmother.
It contains a teapot, sugar bowl, 2 cups/2 saucers and a salt and pepper shaker. They are gold (unknown if 24k gold, but highly possible) with
small ornate etchings of flowers with stems attached, like a vine, covering
each piece.
on the bottom of one of the plates it has the following: eggshell, georgian
homer laughlin, made in u.s.a., D47 N5.
I went to the HL website and there was nothing there that resembled these pieces or had this number listed. Does anyone know about them?
Thank you.

Try posting a question on the eBay Pottery, Glass & Porcelain Discussion Board. There are many knowledgable people on the board. They will want good close-ups of the marks on the pieces, and of the decoration. Any time you are asking for help about porcelain, we want to see pictures. ;)
Otherwise, I know nothing about Homer Laughlin.
