i'm considering buying these Gee & Holmes Knives at an auction today but i do not know much about them. I know a little about Gee & Holmes but these look fancier as most knives i see are in carboard boxes. And the handles...Faux you think? any value?
-
Many of these had bakelite handles !! Good that its a complete set with box !! Not sure on value currently !! I sold some last year !! Look them up on ebay and see what they are selling for Only look at those that have bids !! Should give you an idea !!
-
Looks to me like the first one in the box is not like the rest. Me thinks there was one missing & someone found one that looks similar. I wouldn't buy them.
-
Thanks !! Didn`t notice that earlier !! Just looked at a few prices and these don`t sell for much !! Under $20. !! But I would check on that odd one,, if it doesn`t match,, wouldn`t even give that much !!
-
I didn't want to say that they don't sell for much, because I live in an antique wasteland... I see them for under $15 per set in perfect condition. (Oh, unless it's MCM teak. ;)
-
LOL !! Guess I am just too honest !! But if this person is thinking about buying for resale,,needs to know what to expect price wise !!
-
My neck-o-the-woods $8 - $10 with imperfect set. $15 to $18 perfect.

Well,, Thats three out of three !! Home run !!
