hello,

thanks for the replies, and no seam (hi mart)

I know there's a lot of glass out there-but how many could actually do it?  Just wondering if I could trace it down..to the US?

its a line-or a design in the glass itself.  I could take a better pic of it if you would like.

I can see the line not only on the side but in through the bottom glass as well.

Also, is there some type of writing on the bottom or design showing through?  Pic of bottom and impressions/pic showing on top side.

in the pics it looks like a flaw--but in life it looks and feels like a design...not rough...

Okay....now the "seam" appears on the bottom and writing (appears under the green glass) is on top side of bottom!

Am I imagining it or are there letters....

Could the white glass have been formed/lettered and then the green glass put over it?

It starts with an "R" I think.

Take images from different angles. The flash obviously helps as it appears to be moulded.

Take any kind of oil and rub the bottom and the whit will disappear. I learned that a bottle show. You'll be able to see things clearer.

Its almost as if someone has used a bottle base for it. Like end of day or something.

Image needed directly above the letters.

Just my opinion but I think this is from the 60`s art glass era and may have been sold as a "second" due to the inperfections !!
