Not sure how old or if it is worth anything. Any input is appreciated.

Is it written in pencil ??  Could be the price !!  Many Five and Dime stores priced their items like that !!  They were thrifty that way !!

Yes it is pencil but what kind of pencil because it doesn't come off in water and I have other items with penciled numbers on them.  Always wondered what the penciled number meant. Thanks.

Boxers were EXTREMELY popular during the 30's.  You can find all sorts of unique dog items from that era....if they are for sale!  

My uncle has quite a collection of unique boxer items from that time period (after war) and was shocked when I researched them last year at the values $$$ of them!

As for this piece, it could be up to mid 40's.  Would sell for $15 to $30 in my neck of the woods - depending on condition.

Wullie, would you like that hat on bread or just plain on a plate with some steak sauce?  LOL

believe it or not I can find recipes for all kinds of edible and really wearable hats!  Bread, Rice Paper, cookies, etc.
