Title: 1 Qt. milk glass dish - help identifying maker and pattern
Post by: ejhmmm on February 24, 2013, 12:16:08 AM
I collect a lot of vintage bakeware but I've never seen this pattern.  There is no maker indicated on the bottom - it is simply marked "1 Qt.".  Does anyone know the pattern or maker?  And maybe a year?  My research so far has turned up similar items but not this exact piece.  Thanks!

ejhmmm This will take some research I am happy to help with but could you tell me who you have research so far , Pyrex, federal, Hazel, Sears etc. and please post which pieces you found to be similar. Stepping out but will be back later today.

I have researched Pyrex, but the guide I used may not be exhaustive.  It's looks very similar to this Glasbake dish:

but my pattern has some starbursts and the pattern in the link above does not.

I've also done general searches for vintage bakeware patterns, haven't seen anything that looks exactly like this.

Thanks!

thousands of pieces out there...some similar...but its like looking for a needle in a haystack...prices vary between $10 and $20....but over here that kind of money will buy you the whole dinner service....you can,t give this stuff away...nobody wants it....
