I came across this vintage sculpted Uncle Sam picture frame. Can anybody provide any information on it?

when you say sculpted...do you mean that it is embossed metal..or is it some other medium...if its embossed metal..then they sell for as little as $24...but..one thing i,ve noticed is...this face is a good deal different from..most of the others that i,ve seen....see here for embossed metal uncle sam

Looks like a reproduction !! Can we see the back !! Any writing at very bottom !! May be under the frame !!

It is not metal, but a hard plastic casting. There is no signature or other writing on the back. The person I got it from had it for over 15 years, and he bought it at an antique shop.

Also, everything is wood but 3D Uncle Sam (face and hand)

Reproduction, most were made in Indonesia. A fellow dealer & I used go to the wholesalers to see what would be coming into the "antique" shops . Along the same lines as the Drug Store Indians etc.

Probably not wood but more likely resin of some type !! It can fool you !! Some resins are mixed with sawdust !!
