Post by: tito on March 18, 2013, 06:58:15 PM
I have license plates from 1964 i was wondering if anyone would have any idea how much they might be worth and if so where i might be able to find buyers?

About $2. to $5. each !!  Ebay is your best bet !!  These would have to be considerably older to be called antique !!  Vintage fits better !!  My first car was a 63 Falcon and it isn`t antique yet !!

Actually Mart, cars have a whole different classification to the other antiques that we are familiar with.  With all other items 50 years plus is vintage and 100 years plus is antique.  However, with antique cars...they generally are 45 years old...BUT (and that is a big BUT) they have specific qualifications.  This article is the best one that I have found to help define it.
