Hi All, Does anyone know what this is? Perhaps German?
I assume a wall decoration.... is it possibly a green man beneath the boy.

Has the top broken off ? Like for a candle socket

Well the closest i could match it with is Ginori porcelain, which is linked with early Capo, and it certainly does look Italian.
It's well modelled, unlike later pieces, but it does look as if something has broken from the column.

Shame because it would be both attractive and quite valuable
