Title: Nice old piggy bank

Isn't he cute?

Is this what I've seen called cold painted? He has the slot in back and I suppose the only way to get your money out would be to break him open. Good savings plan, I supoose. Anyone know how old it might be or a value? There is some loss to the paint but no chips or cracks. Stands about 4 inches tall.

I would guess late 20`s or 30`s !!  Some were intended to be broken when filled !!  He is cute !!
