Title: NEED help with mark

i really wood appreciate some help om this found these little bronze figures solid .chipmunk,owl, wolf,etc. all have this mark tried gg not and 8  no clue   tried marks on bronze nothing  thank you

I am new here, so forgive me if I'm wrong, but that almost looks like the arabic symbol "saad"

I have been looking at Sanskrit, Arabic, Hindu, Thai Alphabets/Symbols, since those look the most similar.

Thanks mr D i checked all the alphabets some were close but i dont think it is  SAAD Thanks again

still unsolved sent photo to language dept @ local collage( not a letter.) sent photo to bronze antique bronze dealer in ohio really not sure still searching any other ideas ? now I have 5 of these wolf, owl, badger,chipmonk,dog

It looks abit like hindu writing ... just an idea ...
