Hello,
Here is a large vintage Enjoy Coke Clock. I am curious about the age and worth of this clock before purchasing it to resell it here in my store. I haven't had any luck as far as searching Ebay for one like it. Thank you for your help!! :)
-
What size is it,..and not everyone on here has laptops?...what powers the clock, is it clockwork, or electric,a pic of the back might help, plus a general location...
-
Clock is approximately 2 feet tall standing up. Has pull string for the light. Is electric. The whole board lights up when string is pulled and you can see "Coke" all over the board when lit. What does laptop have to do with it?
-
Here is a rotated pic. I apologize
-
Laptop?...well,as the clock is lying sideways, ...No laptop means bent neck,I,m lucky, I just turn my screen... ;D
-
That,s better...Mart will be pleased...thankyou. ..

Thanks Wullie !! Yes, a straight up view helps !! From the style looks late 60`s or 70`s but could be later than that !! There were so many different styles made its hard to date the more modern ones !! Not a huge demand for these collector wise,, but some do buy them for home use in man cave, rec room, home theatre ect !!

70s.
I can't imagine that it would be worth more than $20-$30, but I'm not big into coke.
Errrrr, I guess I should say I'm not big into Coke.
-
I,m sure we all know what you mean...but just in case, there are some who don,t,we will all assume its not this kind............... ................... ................... ................... ..............
"Coke" is a fuel with few impurities and a high carbon content, usually made from coal. It is the solid carbonaceous material derived from destructive distillation of low-ash, low-sulfur bituminous coal. Cokes made from coal are grey, hard, and porous. While coke can be formed naturally, the commonly used form is man-made.....
or is it t,other... ;D

Had an "expert" take a look at it in person...thought I would update you guys. His answer: "Looks like 70's - 80's used in diners and restaurants. Can probably sell for 325" Thanks guys

definitely worth more than $20-$30. Picture doesn't do it justice, as far as the actual size and condition. Thanks though.

2007????
Of course we ARE aware that the antique/collectibles market has all but collapsed since then?
Around here I'd plan on $20 - $30.

Hate to burst the bubble but if someone said $300. or more you should have said "pay me" !! Here it might bring $40. to $50. if you are lucky !!
-
He wasn't making an offer, he was giving his opinion on what we could sell it for in the store based on his personal knowledge of previous Coca-Cola purchases within and our projected audience. No doubt we could sell it for 250-300 here. Either way, the seller has refused the offer. He calls this his "holy grail" and won't take less than $1000 ::)
-
This seller...does he perchance live in a L, Asylum.....because if he does,nt...he needs to start thinking about it... ;D..as for being his Holy Grail,..I hate to burst his bubble...but..it looks nowt like what Indiana Jones drank out of.....
-
If you have an actual store front...$75 to $80 in today's market in our neck-of-the-woods. Selling by individual, $50 tops.
-
You should be glad he turned you down !! They are neither rare nor collectable by most standards !! Even if only one was made !! There has to be a collector base for anything to be worth that and there just is not one for modern Coke items !! The person that gave that opinion must not keep up with the selling trends in the U.S. !! Out of several opinions here across the country we have all been within reasonably, the same range,, we can`t all be wrong !!!
-
We're not. As a wise person once said, $50 tops. I'd say even less.

Well, if this is his Holy Grail,....what does that make these....died and gone to Coke Heaven perhaps
