This is the last set of items that I inherited, and so far my favorite!
The first one is an old pocket watch, that STILL WORKS hahahaha. I searched for a long time on the internet but couldn't find anything about it. It has some hand cut inscriptions on the inside. One of which I can't read with the date 1888, and another with my Great grandfathers name and the date 1906. There are a few other unreadable scratchings with other numbers that don't look like dates. On the otherside it says CELTIC GRAND PRIX.
I found it in this wooden box, but have no clue if it is original to the piece

If you look closely you can see some of the scratched numbers and words.

This is a chest a lot of the goodies I have were found in. It has a strange fish lock that goes on it.
SORRY FOR THE POOR PICTURES

And I like to think I saved the best for last.
This looks like a medal for an Agriculture Award. The box kinda looks like it is silver on top. I removed my Great grand fathers name, and the date of the award. I found a little bit about it, but it is all in spanish and my spanish is a little rusty. Here are a couple things I found about it. This is an expired spanish auction. http://www.todocoleccion.net/medalla-merito-agricola-oro-brillantes-zafiros-rubies~x30938739
Here is a website with the different medals. Mine falls into the 1939-1977, but It doesn't match any of the ones on the page, so I am assuming it is the missing one "Gran Cruz"

I am pretty sure the gems are real. At least the ones on top are, not sure about the little ones around the shield. Also it is surprisingly heavy when you pick it up.
Here it is

Cool little box o' goodies , MrDunev !
Those hand-scratched/engraved markings inside of the rear case cover are marks (usually in 'jewelers' code') made by a person(s) who'd worked on/repaired/cleaned your watch , and are a method for recording the work/repair that has been done on it , over time .
-
Can you open the inside cover of your watch in order to see the movement? I'm guessing that it's Swiss. Fancypants is right on with the jewelers repair marks.
The medal must be in the upper level of rarity as far as value goes. The following link is for one of a lesser degree w/o jewels and is priced at 900 euro ($1175 ?).

Thank you, I appreciate your support. Right now, it's 9degrees outside here...so what else can I do, but sit inside looking!

9deg, ..thats not bad...this is the first weekend where the temp has been 12deg,...all we,ve had prior is an average of 1deg...when summer comes..if it comes, we only average 23deg,...but thats warm enough for us,...

The Commander variant of The Order of Agricultural Merit medal, with the box, is worth $1000+ easy
The one Rauville linked to is the earlier version
Looks like the pocket watch face is cracked ?

And the WV report is - Spring has been trying to sprung here in that we had two 80+F (27C) days last week … but yesterday was a windy n’ chilling 56F (13C) … and this morning at 4 AM it is a cold 23F (-5C) with frost on the Forsythia blooms.
I think Mother Nature forgot to wind up the 2013 mainspring and itsa running a mite slow this year. ;D ;D ;D

More than a mite, I'd say. We're at least 2 weeks behind in Missouri. As warm as last spring was, that's how cold this one is.
