I,m not long back from the re-cycling centre,..and whilst there i spotted this lying in a skip...so, me being me...I had to rescue it...Its as you can see a mantle clock, it has a sticker on it saying its made of Alabaster,its not working at the moment,but, i,m sure i can fix it..or make a "pigs arse of it"trying...

Wish I could come across a re-cycling centre like you have. You try to touch anything at ours and you get what for!
Then again, probably good that I don't have something like that handy.

You leave yourself wide open,...again you should ,ve known what a Ducks arse was apart from the obvious....40 years ago i did have one...but now i,m as bald as a coot....

Maybe my area was later because it didn`t hit here till 60`s !! 50`s here was Elvis pompadour and long sideburns !!

Yeah..well!!....that,s what happens when you live in the boonies...everythin g is slower,.on getting there,.are you still on wind up telephones , where you go through an exchange..and maybe speak to an Ethel.who eavsdrops every conversation....cos that,s the pic thats in my mind.... ;D ;D
