Title: What is this wooden 'V'?

Someone suggested an easel but it doesn't stand up on its own which makes me think it fits into another piece. Its 17.5 inches long. Thanks for the help!

Made me think of a boot pull - to help remove boots.  For the large work boots....

i see you line of thought...but...i don,t think its that..?....but....it might just be...here,s something similar,

looking at it again..i would say, it would need a pair of hands on the "handles,"...therefore, its not for doing it yourself....maybe the wife, would be helping.... ;D

To me, it looks like a store display rack for some product.  Folded dress shirts maybe...just guessing? :-\

A countertop display rack, ...... yes.

But a bootjack, ....... no.

And I don't think the one Bigwull cited a link to is a bootjack ..... even if the seller listed it as such, ..... cause I didn't see any way to bolt it to the floor.

Wulliues pic is not a boot jack !!  Don`t know what it is,, but I can tell you it ain`t gonna work for boots !!

With the wear and marks near the ends I have to think something heavier than clothes sat on it, if it is a display rack
