sorry its 125mm (approx 5inch) diameter and its 17mm thick

Got me stumped .

Sure looks more like a cast-wax item than a carved one , from what I can see @ 400X your image .

What do you know about this item , mcshane1990 ?

I'm almost wondering if this is a mold-form , for the lost-wax method of casting .... ?

I was thinking along those same lines...this is cast wax....what is the weight of the piece...
