Hello Everyone, Here is the Doll I mentioned is my other post when my grandmother was alive you told me it was 1 of the 1st black dolls that you could buy. It's body is made from wood with what seems a fine wood or paper mache head and all the limbs attach to the body via elastic. Again this I'm finding it very hard to pin down any information as I can't find anything like it online.

Looks like a somewhat typical "composition black baby doll" from the 1920's on up. You should be able to find plenty of examples of various styles on eBay. Composition (sawdust and glue basically) dolls have to be in good condition before they command much interest.
