Title: Ashtray from Dubai

My mother in law brought this back from Dubai a few years ago for me. It appears to be very crudely handmade with no makers mark. Possibly silver? Tourist souvenir piece? It is a little dirty,as I did use it! Just curious of your thoughts,as I can't find another like it on the net.

Probably is a tourist piece but still could be silver !!   Silver polish and it should clean up nicely !!
