morning to all

any idea whose mark the dove is  one last question--there is like red paint-or even nail polish is that supposed to be there or is it part of the marking

Looks like nail polish !! Try some remover on a Q-tip !!  If it isn`t nail polish it will not hurt it !! Or just scrape it off with your fingernail !! Should peel up easily if its on top of the glaze !!  Haven`t found this mark yet !!

Could be paint,, but try the remover first !!  Just don`t let it get on that unglazed foot,, the rough part !! It will absorb the color !!

I have looked everywhere I know and haven`t found the same mark,, found several similar ones !!  This new pottery is almost impossible to find !!

No problem !!  I have looked everywhere including Kovels and haven`t found it !!  Like I said,, several similar but not this one !!
