Hopefully I can get some help here. I have looked all over and cannot find anything helpful. I got this piece of Glasbake at an auction in a box of misc stuff. I am wanting to get info on this and see what it could be worth. It is in the shape of a fish and is about 17 inches long. I also have two other fish shaped platters about 18 inches long but they are milk white and I can find info on them. This other one is not glass it feels like it could be a porcelain but I am not sure. I hope someone can help. I am at a loss.

Don't know anything about it, but I like it for some reason.... ;)

Glasbake was made by McKee Glass Co. from depression era to 60`s I think !! The fish dishes by them are not hard to find !! Yours looks to be from 50`s !! Can you tell me what the design number is on the bottom ??
Wait a minute,, you said porcelain ?? Don`t know that they ever made a pottery type !! Can you take a good clear shot of that bottom mark !! Can`t read the one here !! Still need that style number !!

This glassbake...was an alternative to pyrex glass, Mckee. first brought the fish platter out in the 1930,s

Don`t think McKee did porcelain,, only glass !! That's what I said I thought it was too !! Jeanette bought McKee but they didn`t do porcelain either that I know of !!

Jeanette Glass purchased Royal China Co. and Harker Pottery in 1969. Pure speculation here...but, I wonder if that fish platter mold wasn't traded around between the different companies.

Possible but seems they would have changed the name rather than use Glasbake that was meant for baking/cooking !! Perhaps they had a serving line by same name !!

The mark is not very clear. Pretty much what you see in the picture is all that can be seen.

The pic is upside down! looks like 126!

I see. either 123..or 173...any advance....
