Title: Civil War Officers Button, 1840's-1850's @MORE PICS@

Anyone know how to tell if it is a replica or not?

They are all slightly different conditions. some have better fronts, and some have cleaner backs. I'll try to add more pics soon.

Maybe they never saw service,....

well may i suggest, instead of weeding your garden....get yourself one of these...and then get a map of all known battlefields, and start searching......just remember,...and take a mobile with you....just in case you get lost...
