Hello.
Does anyone know what this is and how old it might be?
Is it worth anything?
Thank you
Erik (Sweden)

Not sure if its actually suppose to be a vanity tray ? Rather than a picture ..
-
It is a tray...don,t let the wire fool you,..its owner just prefers it hanging on the wall,...like people do with plates...
-
Mahogany surround on a metal base, handles look like copper, base may be the same, or dulled aluminium...which indicates that it could be used for carrying hot beverages...

Look and see if the silhouettes are cut and applied to the paper or just printed on !! Cut and applied could be 1900- 1920 or so,, printed on the paper likely later !! It was a popular theme back then !!

The silhouettes are cut and applied. So it could be 1900-1920s?
I guess there's no direct value in this piece?

Beautiful tray. This silhouette style was VERY popular 1920's to 1930's...and is experiencing a resurgence at this time. Just check out silhouettes on ETSY or Pinterest!!!
In our neck of the woods $25 - $35 in good shape.
